Avika White Launches Three New Projects Under Health Initiative

At Avika White, we believe that health is the cornerstone of human dignity, productivity, and progress. Yet, too many individuals and families are held back by barriers such as lack of awareness, limited access to equipment, and financial constraints. In line with our mission to create lasting impact in health, education, food security, environment, economic growth, and legal aid, we are proud to announce the launch of three new projects under our Health Initiative.
These projects are designed to bring healthcare closer to communities, restore hope, and ensure that no one is left behind.
This October 2025, Avika White will host the Market of Hope at a community market in Accra. The event, running from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, will provide free breast cancer screenings alongside education and awareness campaigns. By combining healthcare access with vibrant community life, the Market of Hope seeks to break stigma, promote early detection, and empower women with knowledge and support.

Mobility is freedom, yet many patients recovering from illness or injury lack access to physiotherapy equipment that could change their lives. The Step Forward Project provides wheelchairs, walking aids, and therapeutic devices to hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and individuals in need.
Through this initiative, Avika White is restoring independence, confidence, and wellbeing — one piece of equipment at a time. With the support of donors and partners, every step forward becomes a step toward recovery and dignity.
No patient should remain in a hospital bed simply because they cannot pay their bills. Sadly, this is the reality for many families in Ghana. The Healing Hands Project steps in to provide direct financial support for patients who have completed treatment but cannot settle their medical costs.
By covering these bills, Healing Hands not only frees patients to return home but also relieves families of crushing debt and restores their hope for a healthier future.
